My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin S. Sharma.
“You see, John, books don’t actually teach you anything new.”
“Really?”
“Really. Books simply help you see what is already within yourself. That’s what enlightenment is all about.”

That simple conversation went between the main characters describes it all ...

I’m not going to write a full review about this book or its contents ... I’m just going to highlight few points that took me to another dimension of being ... Maybe ... you’ll be interested enough to take the next train ...

the book is easy to read ... though my personal attitude toward self-help books or self-motivation books has always been “I HATE THEM” ... I don’t think that after this journey with this book I can keep that attitude.
If you just dropped your ego, tried to actually just enjoy the read, and reflect on yourself, maybe some answers of your endless questions will be answered, it’s a light journey to self-discovery ... that we all-somehow- seek ...

“Within you lies the sun, the moon, the sky and all the wonders of the universe. The intelligence that created those wonders is the same force that created you. All things around you come from the same source. We’re all one.”

These books make me link between different rituals of different religions ... the decode the philosophy beyond these rituals, the values and virtues they add to one’s life and then the outcome of it ...
One of the most interesting thoughts was the importance of the “NOW” ... and how by neglecting this factor, we lose the power over the past and the future. By living the now in the right sense, you correct the mistakes of the past, and build the future that lies in the distant horizon ... so as he said “Never Put off Living!”

Being thankful, appreciative and aware of the blessings surrounding you, however small they are, allows you to tap the momentary happiness that revives the soul and baths it in the sea of hope. “The art of gratitude” ... and the potential that unlocks the secrets of details ...

Enjoy the possibilities that an empty cup gives you ... and Belief in the good that exists ...
